Over the last few months I’ve gained 20 lbs. and my waist increased by 3.5 inches. I’m 5′10″ and currently weigh 143 lbs. and am trying to get back to 123 lbs. To this end, I’ve found someone online to compete against to see who can lose the most weight in two weeks time (no bets or anything, just trying to beat each other).
I am 5′2 and 165 pounds right now. My short term goal is 10 pounds by two weeks. I’ve already lost 10 and I am going to see my Fiance in two weeks and I thought 20 pounds will hopefully at least be noticeable on me. Is it safe and doable to lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks? I am eating pretty normal – I am drinking alot of water and cutting out junk food but I don’t know much about nutrition and I dont have time to make complicated meals. I’m just trying to follow basic rules – lots of water, eat breakfast, no snacking especially after dinner etc. I am also on my feet all day for work, and work out an hour a day 6 days a week. Is 10 pounds in two weeks doable?
My whole life I’ve been exercising constantly due to my many sporting commitments, and although I sometimes eat more than I should, I usually maintain a healthy diet and eat much less then many people I know who are always thinner than me. I think perhaps my metabolism adapted to my constant exercising when I was younger and my current lifestyle – however active I might be – is too steady.
I want to try something else in my attempt to lose weight and I feel I should try the fastest method as perhaps it will finally make a difference.
What are the fastest weight loss methods you know of?
I don’t care whats healthy and what isn’t, I just need to lose weight.

Over the summer I planning on trying to lose weight because I’m a bit on the big side. Also I’m diabetic so I can’t not eat or my blood sugar levels will go low.
I understand that it’s healthier to lose gradually….there are just some reasons that I really want to get the weight off ASAP, then continue it as a lifestyle change. I’m willing to do anything just about! I want to lose as close to 60 pounds in 4-5 months time. I know that’s a crazy goal, but just wanna get as close as I can. Anyone have suggestions??
