I Want To Lose 2 Pounds A Week?

I’d like to lose two pounds a week (the healthy way).
The thing is, I don’t want to get muscly by doing hard-core exercises like running loads, but I want to lose two pounds a week for about 5-10 weeks.
I know I should consume about 1000-1500 calories a day, but as for the cardio to do, what’s a good form of cardio that doesn’t get your legs totally ripped?
Oh, and if anyone can solve this. I’ve gained like 4 pounds in the past week and I have no idea how. Anyone have an idea?

The more muscle you have the more fat you burn.
If you don’t want to bulk up do more reps with little weight.
cycling will give you nice lean muscle as well as dancing.
Go light on carbs and increase protein. As far as the weight gain… if you’ve been working out that is normal because muscle weighs more than fat.

You won’t gain a lot of muscle unless you try to (heavy weights and excess protien). Your muscles will swell alittle but that will go down within a week of stoping your workouts. Run all you wnat! DO use light weights (less than lbs.) for your upper body workout. Be sure to do a wide range of upper body stuff – arms, back, schest, etc…

Do not listen to that idiot down there.
    Never stop eating.
    trust, I’ve been there.
    It’s not a good thing.
Running a lot might give you muscles, but not too man-like.
It will definitely tone your muscles.
You can also use an elliptical or a bike.
Simple “P.E.” exercises are good too, like squats, curl ups, push ups, leg lifts, etc.
    Good luck!

Ok. Then 1,000 calories, should be good enough. The less the better. So exercise a lot. But I suggest you use an exercise bike due to your problem. Because it has less impact. Save money and buy an exercise bike or go to the gym. They have a really good one for 93 dollars at Walmart. Anyways. Lose about 2,000 – 3,000 calories each day. Which is easy. So everyday you’ll lose a lot of calories. And then it’ll lead up to 2 pounds in exactly a week.

Pilates is great for long lean legs.
Focus more on measurements than weight. Muscle weighs more than fat and takes up way less space. A woman can be a size 8 and have more muscle mass and weigh the same as a woman who is a size 12 and have more fat. The size 8 woman is healthier and looks better too.
Weight training is great. Don’t worry about getting “ripped” it takes a long time! Remember you’ll burn more calories if you have more muscle.

you should just generally exercise a lot. i don’t know where you live, but great way is skiing and snowboarding. you’ll know you lost weight- i lost ten pounds within three days. or, go to a gym.. jog, or run up and down steps. that’s always good.
    diet, if you want, too.
    :D

do not starve yourself. it causes your body to save calories, not lose calories…it depends on if u exercised and how much you ate/if it was healthy or not… i have had that too cause i all of a sudden gained 5 pounds.. i hate it!
    hope it helps
